API Configuration
A new key never replaces the one you have: it goes in use, and the one before it stays saved below.
Answers when your main engine can't (it's down, out of credit, or turns your key down).

Saves the provider, key, model, base URL, backup engine, temperature, reply length, context window and thinking above. Each other section on this page has its own button.
Run one bot on a different model than your default, everywhere or in one Discord channel: Gemini for one character, Sonnet for another in the same channel. The model has to exist at your provider. Same thing from Discord: /setmodel <model> bot or /setmodel <model> here.
Memory
Everything a character remembers about you lives in your memory books: memories written as the story goes, the ones you make yourself (!creatememory 40 on Discord, Make a memory in the Parlor), and the living notes. These settings decide how they are written. !memories with any bot shows where things stand.?
A chat can have its own rule: !creatememories auto 40 there, or the Parlor's memory box.
Needs a key saved for that provider under API Configuration.
Account
This is the name everyone sees: on your characters in the Lobby, on bot profiles, and as your name in chats. It doesn't have to be your real one. 2–32 characters — letters, numbers, spaces, and . _ -
A page about you, the creator: a few words about yourself, a picture, your own colors, and every character you've made public. Once it's published, your name in the Lobby and on your characters' pages leads to it.
Edit your creator pageYou sign in with your email, and password resets go to it. A new one takes over once you open the link we send to it and press the button there. If your old address is verified, it gets a note, with a way to put it back for a week in case it wasn't you.
Not linked
Link your Discord account so the bots use your website API keys, model, personas and memory. Generate a code, then send /link CODE to any UnrealHQ bot (a DM is safest).
Controls whether NSFW characters appear in the Lobby and can be chatted with.
Your plan
Support UnrealHQ on Ko-fi first, then tell the admin what you'd like. Requests are checked against donations by hand, usually within a day.
An API plan is an UnrealHQ Managed API key of your own, and bots answer you on it, on Discord and in the Parlor: any model on offer, one credit per token, and a daily allowance that starts over at midnight UTC. Approving it puts the key on your account and switches you to it. Compare the API plans →
A managed key is a monthly token budget that lives on the bot you pick. Pin it to one server and the bot uses its own or the server's key everywhere else. You choose the model on the bot card once it's granted — pricier models simply use the budget faster.
