Welcome to UnrealHQ ("we", "our", "the Service"). By registering for or using UnrealHQ, you agree to these Terms. Read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use UnrealHQ. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 18. If we discover that a user under 18 has registered, we will immediately terminate their account and delete associated data.
UnrealHQ is not directed at minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately and we will delete it.
Certain content on UnrealHQ may be marked as Not Safe For Work (NSFW) or intended for adults only. Access to such content requires explicit opt-in confirmation that you are 18+ and consent to viewing mature material. NSFW content is not shown by default. You may toggle NSFW access in your account settings at any time.
Users who create NSFW content are responsible for ensuring it does not depict minors in any form, real or fictional. Violation of this policy will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to law enforcement.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password. You must provide accurate information when registering (including your date of birth). Providing false age information is a violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to review, moderate, or remove any content that violates these Terms, applicable laws, or our community guidelines. Prohibited content includes but is not limited to: content involving minors, hate speech, threats, doxxing, and illegal material.
Admin staff may decrypt character prompts stored in our system for moderation review. Every such access is logged with the reviewer's identity, a required reason, and timestamp. This is disclosed here as part of our transparency commitment.
We encrypt character prompts and API keys at rest using AES-256-GCM. Discord bot tokens are also encrypted at rest. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Despite these measures, no system is perfectly secure. Do not store highly sensitive information in character prompts.
UnrealHQ integrates with third-party services including Discord (for bot hosting and OAuth login) and AI providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic (for language model access). Use of these services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
Your API keys for third-party AI providers are encrypted in our database and only decrypted at the time of use. We do not share your API keys with anyone.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Conversation history may be automatically summarized and pruned after configurable retention periods. You may request full account deletion at any time (see Section 9).
You have the right to request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. To exercise this right, contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL — fill in before launch] with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". We will process your request within 30 days and send confirmation.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UnrealHQ and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
